thoughts about reading

reading response one - a handmade web

a drawing of a webpage where the user can type code in on the right and a spiderweb made by a hand appears to the left

a website that allows you to type code in on the right. for every line of code, a new little string of the web is strung. some codes may not appear to make changes due to the nature of the webpage, but if you change the color, font, etc. using code, those things will actually change on the webpage.

reading response two - hello, world!

a drawing of a webpage showing a bunch of skyscrapers, where when the user hovers over a building, it turns into a series of 0s and 1s

reading response three - a friend is writing

a drawing of a webpage where text bubbles with ellipsis pop up, and when the user attempts to hit a mute button, a new bubble pups up on the page

reading response four - the web's grain

a drawing of a webpage where a random new square appears somewhere every 10 seconds, eventually expanding both the horizontal and vertical scroll bar

reading response five - the poetry of tools

a drawing of a webpage where a heart beats as long as the user continuously clicks on the page. when the user ceases to click the word 'dead' appears on the screen

reading response six - the good room

a drawing of a webpage where only the text 'go read a book.' can be seen.

more to come :~)
